License to Carry Class

LTC Classes With Garrett Winters

The License to Carry (Formerly CHL) class will be held at SS Outfitters located at 6045 E State Road 114, Levelland, TX 79336, United States of America (just East of Levelland - Click Here to see Location).

All Classes Are One Day Only.

If your class is held on a Saturday, we will begin promptly at 9am; the shooting qualification will be about 1:30pm, with class typically ending near 3pm. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to start time.

If your class is held on a Sunday, we will begin promptly at 12pm; the shooting qualification will be about 12:30pm with class typically ending between 5:30-6pm. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to start time.

Should you need to borrow a handgun, we are happy to rent one to you for $10; you will be required to purchase ammo from SS Outfitters if you rent our handgun. The cost of the class is $115. This is discounted to $105 for first responders, nurses, school teachers, college students, and veterans. We accept CASH or CHECK only (no cards) for class tuition and gun rental.

Please feel free to bring any snacks/drinks that you would like. For the sake of time, we do not take a meal break.
The shooting qualification will be outside. Please dress accordingly based on the weather that day. Shorts are allowed but please wear closed toe shoes (no sandals/flip flops).

For class you will need:

Drivers License or state ID card

Handgun, 50 Rounds of Ammo if using your own handgun (no reloads or steel casings)

Ear Protection (Ear Muffs or Ear Plugs)

Eye Protection (Safety Glasses, prescription glasses, or Sunglasses)

We accept CASH OR CHECKS ONLY, unfortunately at this time we DO NOT accept credit/debit cards.

Texas LTC class is not a beginner's shooting course. You are expected to have knowledge of your handgun and demonstrate proficiency with it during the class. If you have not shot before or would like to become a more proficient shooter, we offer a Introductory Handgun class with emphasis on handgun shooting fundamentals. This class is separate from the LTC class. For more information contact Garrett directly.

License To Carry, Class and gun rental for class- payment must be in the form of Cash or Checks only. Only SS Outfitters Shop will accept Credit/Debit Cards as a form of payment.
